Details: The texture of this swimsuit makes it truly special! It is a special technique like shibori, where the fabric is permanently creased or pleated in a desired shape. The construction is interesting - it has a lycra base panel, over which the non-stretch shibori panel is placed and sewn together in the seams. The permanent pleating in the fabric means it stretches with the lycra underneath, and maintains its fun texture even when being worn. This would be such a fun piece for a festival, worn as a body with a pair of denim shorts, or for your next beach hols! It has a classic swimsuit shape, with a low back. The watercolour-effect colourful floral print is the icing on top of this perfect 80s piece!

Measurements: Approx size UK. Bust 31" (but back is open so will fit larger) waist 26" unstretched - garment is made of stretch fabric so will stretch to fit larger measurements
Condition: Good - there are two cuts in the stretch lining at the base of the straps, I think this was likely done to remove bust padding that may have perished due to age.
